Why I·CAIO
In recent years, major global economies have introduced a series of policies to support the development of artificial intelligence. In 2023, the United States passed an Executive Order on the Safe and Responsible Development and Use of AI, mandating the establishment of a Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer (CAIO) to promote the application and compliant development of AI technologies.
Similarly, the European Union and China have also rolled out related policies, further driving the widespread adoption of AI across various industries. The implementation of these policies not only enhances the competitiveness of nations in the AI field but also highlights the critical role of the CAIO in corporate strategy.
CAIO Cases
Globally, more than 100 companies have established the CAIO position, driving the deep integration of AI technology into their operations.
For example, Microsoft solutions provider Avanade appointed Florin Rotar as Chief AI Officer to lead the execution of its global AI strategy, while NASA appointed David Salvagnini as its first CAIO, responsible for advancing the application of AI in autonomous management systems for spacecraft and aircraft. These examples demonstrate that the CAIO is not only a manager of internal AI projects but also a key leader in driving AI transformation within the enterprise.
What does I·CAIO include
